With a penchant for manual utility and self-defense tasks, this tactical tomahawk dispatches obstacles quickly with a sharp SK5 carbon steel blade on one end and an aggressive spike on the other.
Designer Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical in Chattanooga, TN has been honing his tactical tomahawk designs for over 30 years earning him a dedicated and loyal fan base, particularly among special forces troops. Now, he’s building an even bigger following with his latest offering: The Kangee T-Hawk.
Crafted from a single slab of high carbon steel, it’s robust enough to handle most anything you can dish out. The blade geometry has tapered cutting edges for efficient splitting, chopping or shaving and overall toughness. Meanwhile, a spike on the other end ensures victory over whatever you may come up against in the line of duty. This tomahawk does more than cut. It carves out a unique place in your tactical gear bag.
But let’s not forget the true importance of a work tool—how it feels in hand. To that end, this T-Hawk features a curved handle and a finger grip choil along the front for enhanced control. Full-length handle scales are checkered for added grip security, and they can be easily removed for cleaning. It’s a useful tool to have and to hold from this day forward.
Finally, a Molle compatible Boltaron sheath can be slipped over the head for easy, secure attachment to all your Molle gear.
Well balanced and easily controlled, the Kangee will make you look good by destroying anything in its path.

This is a great little camp axe, this is carrried by my 6 year old son. He uses it to cut kindling wood, shave bark of logs, and cut sticks for the fire. He also really likes it for splitting open and chopping up rotten logs to we what’s inside. Not very sharp out of the box so that made it even better for my son. Not the camp axe I would carry, but perfect for the little guy.

Solid product seems well made high quality. But, and it’s a big but…. You can only enter wood about three inches, the part where the handle and blade connect will block you from entering any deeper. This is obviously problematic because you can’t use it to make kindling. I had to use my knife and the hammer side of this hatchet. Which kinda defeats the purpose… I would only use this for chopping twigs and small branches off, and maybe making very small kindling. It’s unfortunate because it would have been a great and useful multi use tool.

For 12$ this little hatchet is prime. Really like how light it is. If your looking to chop down a tree or split logs look elsewhere but if you’re looking for a axe to throw in your day pack for survival purposes this little guy can do wonders. Sharp as heck and will get you some wood to start a fire.

Globalmente l’accetta é ben fatta, robusta, molto affilata e francamente bella.

Nice for backpacking; mine weighed in at 11.8 oz on my scale. Blade does need to be sharpened after a few uses but that is to be expected of such a light hatchet. I will only be using it for logs about 3-4 inches so it will likely last a few years. It does what it is designed to do very well, don’t push it and you will be happy with this item. Well made and lighter than many other camp axes in this range.

This Hatchet is well worth the price, if its out of stock its worth waiting for!Its great for backpacking, camping, etc. Its extremely light at 13 ounces and razor sharp. You might think that being so light it wouldn’t work very well but in fact it makes short work of most tasks. The blade on this is so sharp you will actually cut your sheath if your not careful. I’ve seen some comments about it dulling quickly but I have not found this to be the case. After using it several times it still has a very nice edge. This is the ONLY hatchet you will ever need!

Great axe and very light. I use it for backpacking and it works great. I worry that if I miss-hit, I may hit my hand with the sharp point towards the handle (thus 4 star instead of 5 for design), but it is still a great product.

It was exactly as advertised super sharp and ready to use. It was delivered on time as it was supposed to be all in all great purchase. Thank you

This axe is actually a great value. What it’s not is a log splitting axe. This is not a elite bushcraft tool either. But it is a great tool around camp for fueling a hobo stove or small fire. It is really strong and sharp out of the box. The belt shealth is amazing. The saw is actually really good but it’s slow. I take my time with it and dont expelling much energy ( your camping what else you got to do?) compared to other saws that cut fast. The hatchet it self is great for removing limbs from small branches. This is a great tool to make a wedge for splitting. I use this for tent stakes small fires and to save my knife from allot of camp work. It’s not that heavy and the saw locks open and closed and has its own liner. It’s a very solid tomahawk like hatchet. I just dont try to push it past it intended use. I also dont Batton my knives either so take it for what it is.

Used the heck out of this on a camping trip. I hacked away at hardwood logs for starter wood in the camp fire. Blade is sharp as heck. I hammered tent stakes in with ease and the jack knife saw is rugged as any I’ve seen. It could do some damage cutting up anything in a survival situation and comes in very handy for camping.

I am going to nullify one key feature (the hidden saw) as the handle need padding or paracord to make more comfortable which kind of defeats the whole idea of being able to open hidden saw feature

Ottimo prodotto ma arrivato con una visibile intaccatura su un lato lama. Probabilmente dovuta a processo produttivo e stranamente non rilevata dai controlli qualità

Good product for light use
DMD from Florida –
Excellent quality item. Solid quality. The only reason why I gave it four stars instead of five is, because I have arthritis I have a difficult time to open the saw out of it’s safe place. I wish it wasn’t so difficult to release.

This thing came ridiculously sharp, which is awesome. It is super light and pretty thin; good for splitting kindling too. I bought it hoping to tie this on to my hiking pack instead of the everyday feels-like-100-pounds-after-3-hours hatchet I carry now, and it will be perfect for this.EDIT: After 6 months or so of owning this, the only bad thing I can say is it is so sharp, it cut through the stitching on the front of the sheath, which is now dangling in two halves. I’ll need to re-sew it or build one out of leather.
Person –
The plastic parts on the side because you can’t split wood and if you hit a tree hard enough the saw comes out. If you want this axe for show and tell or because u want to cut down a tree 1 or 2 times, then it is fine but if you want a practical axe then this one is the wrong one because is u want to chop you can’t because of the plastic peases on the side of the axe

I recieved this honestly not expecting too much out of this product. However, I was pleasently surprised that it was at least sharp and has held its edge pretty well. I am only going to be using this item on backpacking trips so the weight was also really in a perfect range. As long as you get this item and don’t expect some amazing product you will be happy with this.
